READ JONAH ONE

The storm God hurls on the sea is the first way God calls Jonah to repentance. This week, we’re going to look at two other ways God calls Jonah back to Himself.

We’ll look at the answers tomorrow. Today, spend some time reflecting on the various ways God has called you back to repentance in your own life.

Has God consistently used another person in your life to call you to repentance?

Has God used particular passages of Scripture to call you to repentance?

How have you responded?

PRAY & REFLECT

Thank God that He is slow to anger and abounding in love. Thank Him that, in His love for us, He does not leave us in our sin but consistently calls us to repentance. Ask Him to help you, by His Spirit, to respond to His call quickly and fully.
