Shout out to all the moms and dads holding babies Shout out to all the moms and dads holding babies during service this morning. It was harder choice, wasn’t it? Staying home would have been easier, wouldn’t it have? But being a part of the Church means being a part of the church. And it’s worth it!
Happy resurrection day! ✨ Happy resurrection day! ✨
Signs of new life this resurrection day ✨ I’ll sp Signs of new life this resurrection day ✨

I’ll spend most of my morning prepping for @trinitygreenville Easter service, making food for Easter dinner with family, and caring for a sick little girl. 🥹 But I’m also reminded that the last time I was pregnant I was held captive by tremendous fear. I was shrouded in darkness and anxiety — fear of loss, of sorrow, of loneliness. And this year so much is marked by new life — not only with this little one bulging my belly, but with resurrection in my heart.

A reminder today that new life — real hope and resurrection — is ours in Christ. Happy resurrection day!
The significance of the curtain tearing is one of The significance of the curtain tearing is one of my favorite things to recall every year during holy week! The barrier between mankind is God is removed in the death of Christ, and the sacrificial system is put to rest as the Lamb of God gives his life on behalf of his people. What a great question as we celebrate the resurrection this weekend!
MOST Christians want to read their Bibles daily. B MOST Christians want to read their Bibles daily. But MOST don’t know where to start! I’m Amy, and even after Bible school and seminary I still find myself wondering somedays how I’ll get into the Word some days. But these three steps have served me well over the decades — would they help you too?

✨ Pick a time to meet God. Make it the same every day and try it for 21 days. That’s how long it takes to form a new habit!

✨ Pick a book of the Bible to start reading. Choose Mark if you want to know more about the life of Jesus, James if you want encouragement to endure hard things, Philippians if you’re in search of joy, or Proverbs if you want to grow in making wise choices!

✨ Start SMALL and study SLOW. Resist that big overhaul energy that wants to commit to reading the Bible is a year at 5am if you’re not a morning person or have never ready your Bible daily. Start small: read for five mins and pray for five mins. That’s it. It can be that simple. You’re so much more likely to stick with it you choose a routine that’s doable, and let the Lord grow you from there!

Have you found something helpful in establishing a daily time in the Word? Share your best tips in the comments! 🧡
In all my unmet longings, He has proven better. He In all my unmet longings, He has proven better. He is the prize of waiting on Him. ✨
